This was my first read of my day while drinking coffee brought to me by my husband, the warm October air wafting in over bare feet due to mild temps in my predawn-open-windows-favorite -reading spot. What a delight: your family, food, travel, beautiful photos, the easy and comforting cadence of your writing. I just love this account. It reminds me of the travelogues of the 60s and 70s in Michigan that my parents would attend in a big auditorium, filled with other 1st and 2nd generation Dutch, to view the beauty of their homeland and beyond. Thank you so much for perhaps unintentionally moving my heart.
I visited Krakow for a conference and loved the food and the deep history of the land. Thanks for taking me back there with the wonderful photos. ✌️
So many happy memories evoked of visits to Krakow and the Tatra mountains from our then home in Warsaw in the mid 1990s
I’m sure you had some wonderful adventures of your own!
We sure did, Anna! Can share a couple of stories with you if interested

Thank you so much for your kind comment, Mary. Sounds like you had a lovely morning for reading – glad this piece could be part of it 💛
